Old Crow is a bourbon from Jim Beam that is famous for being the world’s first sour mash whisky. Aged for three years, it is great value and works fantastic as a mixer.

Old Crow is named after James Crow, a doctor who was originally from Scotland. He started distilling bourbon in Frankfort, Kentucky, in the 1830s and invented the sour mash process. This is the now commonly used method of adding a small amount of previously used mash to the current batch to start the fermentation process.

Doctor James Crow named his popular whisky Old Crow, a name that lives on long after his death.
