Tennessee became a state (the 16th in America) in 1796. One hundred years later at its centenary, one of its favourite and most famous sons, Jack Daniel, commissioned a special bottle to celebrate.

It had a long, twisting neck that was very difficult to produce so only a handful were made.

Roll forward another 100 years to 1996 and the Jack Daniel’s Distillery decided to have another go. The updated version – Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Bicentennial - went on sale as one of its commemorative bottles.

It is a simple but beautiful design and it is very rare. Two versions were made: a 75cl for the US market and a 70cl for international markets. This is the US version.
