This limited edition bourbon whisky was produced by Four Roses in 2010. It is a small batch made with a small number of casks that are all hand-selected by the distillery’s master distiller.

One of the really cool features of this bourbon whisky is the recipe used. Four Roses makes bourbon using 10 recipes. This limited edition is married with whisky made with three of those recipes.

The first is OBSV. It is aged for 15 years and is made with 60% corn. The second is OBSK which is also made with 60% corn but is aged for 11 years. The final recipe is OESK. It is aged for 10 years and has 75% corn in the mashbill.

The three recipes are married and are then bottled at cask strength. The result is a rich and complex bourbon whisky with a smooth finish. As we are learning to expect from Four Roses, their Limited Edition 2010 Barrel Strength is distinctly unique.
