This collector’s Henry McKenna branded bourbon whisky was bottled in the 1960s and was aged for six years. Henry McKenna is made at the Heaven Hill distillery, although this particular version is not available anymore.

Henry McKenna was an Irishman who moved to Fairfield in Kentucky in 1837. He brought his family’s whisky recipe with him eventually setting up a distillery in 1855. He adapted to the local grains and style to produce what became known as Kentucky’s finest table whisky.

Heaven Hill says the Henry McKenna bourbon they make today honours that heritage. More...
