Evan Williams Black Label is the second best selling bourbon whisky in the US (Jim Beam White Label is the best selling). It is named after American distiller Evan Williams who began making bourbon in 1783. He was the first commercial distiller in the newly-forming United States. Evan Williams Black Label bourbon whisky as we know it today was introduced in 1960 and is now made by the Heaven Hill Distillery, but it has over 225 years of heritage behind it.

This is a sour mash bourbon that is made using traditional methods before being aged in a new, white oak barrel that has been charred.

It is rich and smooth. If you are looking for a bourbon to add cola, water or another mixer to, this is a great choice. More...
