Corner Creek

Corner Creek bourbon whisky

The Whisky Exchange

•    Small batch
•    Aged 8 years
•    Lightly filtered for complex flavour
•    ABV 44%, 70cl

The first striking thing about Corner Creek is the bottle. It is unusual in that it looks so common -- it is often mistaken for a bottle of wine. On each bottle is a print of a drawing by the artist William Nagle.

This is a small batch bourbon that has been aged for eight years. It is made by the Corner Creek Distillery which is part of Kentucky Bourbon Distillers. They say it is only lightly filtered -- to keep the complex flavour -- and is bottled in as natural a state as possible.

This is not for the inexperienced but if you do have some whisky-drinking miles under your belt (so-to-speak) you will find it complex with a traditional, full-bodied taste. More..
