The ingredients of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel are the same as the other whiskies made at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery and the process of charcoal mellowing is also the same. The difference with Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is down to the barrel. As the name suggests, this whisky is bottled from a single barrel.

These are stored in the “Angels Roost”, or uppermost section of the barrelhouse. Here the whisky experiences the greatest fluctuations in temperature resulting in a more intense maturation. And because no two barrels are in the same position, each produces a whisky with a different character.

The bottle of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel you get will therefore be unique. Only a handful of other people in the world will be drinking exactly the same whisky as you. Your Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel bottle will have printed on it the rick number, barrel number and bottling date.
